The location was perfect and the staff were really nice and helpful.
There was no ac or fan in the room so it was really hot. The street that the hostel is on is a bar street so it's really noisy at night. Also the common area is kinda small for such a big hostel.

Everything was really clean.
Walls are so thin that you hear people from all over the corridor/rooms chatting. Breakfast was short of alternatives.

My mattress was well-used and needed replacing, although it wasn't so uncomfortable to stop me sleeping.

Price!!! Very central, great to go discover the city on foot!!! It's a decent hostal, very clean and with confortable beds.
Only problem was the noisy street, there's a club on the street right next door. If you're planning to stay over on a Friday or Saturday night, you'd better be in the mood for party...

excellent location, friendly staff on reception, the price is very reasonable. Perfect for people who around the city most of the day, and are using the room just for sleeping.
this is hotel where you should stay just if you are visiting for few days, the room is clean but very basic.

Nice location, economy price, friendly staff
Poor atmosphere, bad temperature regulation, no internet. Too noisy in the nights due to location. Very-very small shower cabin. Old furniture and rooms renovation may be required

Location is great, price/quality ratio on par, reception 24h and answered all my questions.
There is no WLAN in the hotel - none at all. On Friday-Saturday nights it's terribly noisy, even with windows shut. Kitchen is definitely not the Spanish best - they'd be better off just not offering the food at all; you can get anything any time of day from any of tens of cafes within 50 meters outside.

Close to the heart of the city: good for tourism and for living Madrid by night
Much noise in the nearest street till 6.00 am and room a little hot (but I was there in august). this is not a problem if you want to live Madrid by night

superb location , lots of restaurants, lots of people, at walking distance of the 3 main musea. Clean towels every day.

I loved the location. It was close to everything.
From reading other comments I had an idea that this hostel was going to be a bit noisy, and it sure was. However I didn't mind at all, but I would not recommend staying here on a Friday or Saturday if you are looking for some peace and quiet.
